Whisky & Wisdom’s “Whisky Quiz”

Whisky Quiz

Back for its fifth consecutive year, Whisky & Wisdom’s Whisky Quiz challenges those who think they know their whisky trivia.  How good is your whisky wisdom?  Take the Whisky Quiz to find out…

This fun little quiz will test the whisky facts and trivia you’ve picked up over your malt journey.  There are 25 questions that are designed to sort out the newbies from the experts.

Yes, you could consult Google and find the answer to each question, but that would be cheating, right?  So, be honest with yourself and others, and see how many questions you can answer correctly off the top of your head.

Instructions (read these, particularly No. 3!):

  1. There are 25 questions and a total of 27 points available.
  2. Once you’ve answered the final question, click on the green “Submit” button.
  3. Your screen may appear to go blank, but you simply scroll back up to the top and click on “View score”.  A new browser window will open with a Google Docs sheet.
  4. For any questions you got wrong, the correct answer and some additional, helpful information will be provided.

How to interpret your score

  • Less than 6 – Don’t worry, it’s admittedly a pretty hard test! Read through the archives at Whisky & Wisdom to kickstart your knowledge!
  • Between 7 and 11 – Well done! You’ve clearly been enjoying whisky for a while.  Keep drinking, keep enjoying, and keep learning!
  • Between 12 and 17 – Impressive.  Very impressive.  Have a dram and toast yourself!
  • Between 18 and 21 – If only there was such a thing as Whisky Trivial Pursuit!  You’d clean up.
  • Between 22 and 24 – You’re a hardcore whisky enthusiast.  Wear it proud!
  • Either 25 or 26 – You’re a true malt maniac!
  • 27 out of 27 – You have achieved all Wisdom. Pour yourself a Black Bowmore.

(Remember, if your screen seems blank, scroll back up to the top after you’ve hit the submit button)
